INTRODUCTION
Hello, and welcome to the Element's Guide. This is a guide designed to let newcomers know where, how, and why the varying elements work!
In total, there are ten existing elements:
Sun, Moon, Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Lightning, Ice, Time, and Space
wip
CLASSIFICATION
Elements are divided into two main categories, or classes. The first class determines the element’s ancestry, or where they come from. The second class shows us the when, and tells how old or young an element is.
Class 1 (family) | Sun, Moon, or Aether
Class 2 (element) | Primary, Secondary, or Ancient
THE SUN ELEMENTS
Sun ➙ strong and weak to Moon
Air ➙ strong against Earth, weak against Lightning
Fire ➙ strong against Water, weak against Ice
Lightning ➙ strong against Air, weak against Earth
THE MOON ELEMENTS
Moon ➙ strong and weak to Sun
Earth ➙ strong against Lightning, weak against Air
Water ➙ strong against Fire, weak against Ice
Ice ➙ strong against Water, weak against Fire
THE AETHER ELEMENTS
Sun- strong against Moon, weak against Moon
Moon- strong against Sun, weak against Sun
Time- strong against Space, weak against Space
Space- strong against Time, weak against Time
THE PRIMARY ELEMENTS
Consisting of four elements, the primary elements are the most commonly inherited by elemental wolves. They are derived from the ancient elements of Sun and Moon. Two of the primary elements (Fire and Air) were first created through Sun, while the other two (Water and Earth) were born through the influence of Moon. *The primary elements are based off of the four states of matter: Plasma, Liquid, Gas, and Solid.

THE SECONDARY ELEMENTS I CAN'T GET THESE ICONS TO BE SMALL
Consisting of two elements, the secondary elements are less common, and make up the elements of Lightning and Ice. These elements are variations of the Primary Elements. Lightning harnesses the energies of both Fire and Air, while Ice combines the powers of Water and Earth.

THE ANCIENT ELEMENTS
Consisting of four elements, the ancient elements are both rare and pure. Those possessing these energies are not often found outside their native homelands. These are the first element’s to be possessed by wolves. Because of this, the ancient elements do not have any ascending elements. *Time and Space are the only elements that do not have descendants or ascendants.

WORKINGS
Mageía: Elemental energy, often specified as Mageía, is what a wolf's abilities are made up of. Mageía is everywhere! It is not limited to just the ten elements. Elements, in essence, are properties of the universe. They are building blocks that are responsible for creating all things.
Trees, birds, bugs, and everything in between has specific types of mageía within them, but they are unable to call upon and use that energy to their will. Of all living things, wolves are the only animals aware of and which are capable of manipulating mageía, calling upon it both from within themselves and the natural world.
However, while being aware of its many forms, wolves can only manipulate a single type of mageía. This is thanks to the Kýklos, mysterious beings described as being the personification of an element. It was the Kýklos that gave wolves the ability to possess and control their element's mageía.
Elemental Cores: An elemental core is defined as the spiritual accumulation to where mageía enters and exits the body. They are non-physical structures, and act as a storage space where a wolf's power is kept and regulated. Without a core, it is impossible to use mageía, let alone possess one of the ten elements. All wolves who possess a core can trace their lineage back to when the Kýklos first shared their powers.
All elemental wolves contain at least one primary core, often located somewhere deep in the body. It is also common for wolves to contain several lesser core distributed throughout the body. Cores may form anywhere during development, both externally and internally. Genetics play a small role as to where in or on the body cores appear. Internal cores are almost always primary cores. They are not visible from the outside, but are typically very large and hold a lot of energy. External cores are visible to the naked eye, and appear as glowing markings on the body. These cores are typically small, but are concentrated to hold more potent energy. Most wolves contain both types. Common placement of cores include the chest and stomach (internal), tail, feet, shoulders, back, ears, and forehead (external.)
A core behaves in both active and passive states. Whenever a wolf is not using their elemental mageía, their core is in its passive state. The passive state is a rest period, where cores replenish and store energy. The passive state is involuntary; a wolf can not control it. A core is considered active whenever a wolf wills mageía around or outside their body. Elemental wolves can control how much mageía they wish to manipulate, and can continue to do so until their core reaches dangerously low levels, in which case the core goes back to being passive.
The time is takes for a core to replenish/deplete depends on various factors, such as the wolf's core size, genetics, age, and natural skill. Wolves should never fully deplete their core. It not only makes them vulnerable, but is life-threatening. As said before, mageía is what makes up all things. Without it, wolves risk losing themselves. Either with their lives, or something worse...
Lineage: In modern era, it is not the type of element a wolf is that matters to anyone. It is whether or not their familial ties share the same said element of themselves. Blood is important in the society of the Elemental Kingdoms, though in reality there is very little difference in whether or not a wolf shares parents of the same type.
Pure-blooded wolves are those with parents and grandparents and great grandparents and great great grandparents of the same element. In modern times, it is actually quite rare to find wolves fitting this description. Those who do are almost always, always native kingdom wolves. These wolves also tend to hold high positions or even lead. So far, all wolves chosen by the Kýklos have been pure-blooded wolves.
Pure-blooded wolves, societal views aside, have high affinity for their element. They are typically quite skilled, and their element is way stronger than average. On the downside, they have trouble using their element outside of its intended purpose. It is hard to adapt their element to certain situations. Pure-blooded wolves are also known to have a greater chance to develop any associated disease or genetic abnormalities with their element.
Mixed blood wolves are more adaptable than their pure-blooded counterparts, and less prone to disease and other genetic abnormalities. Mixed wolves are wildcards, and may have particularly strong or weak elemental abilities, though it is more common for their element to be weaker than that of a pure-blood wolf. Mixed wolves do not follow the typical characteristics of their kind, and come in many shapes and colors. Their fighting style may be atypical, and they may use their element in ways not previously known.
Please keep in mind that the following information on each of the Elemental Wolf Types are representations of the general pure-blood population residing in the Elemental Kingdoms. Your wolf does NOT have to follow the general appearance or personality traits associated with its element. An Earth wolf does not have to be serious. They can be outgoing and mischievous. An Ice wolf does not have to be white or blue, they can be red and black. I think you get the idea. However, if you decide that your wolf is a born native of the elemental kingdoms, then I would definitely recommend taking into account some of their stereotypical traits.
Overview:
At Their Best: Charismatic, Inspiring, Honorable, Forthright, Generous, Optimistic, High-Spirited, Courageous, Chivalrous, Proud
At Their Worst: Intolerant, Authoritarian, Patronizing, Overbearing, Egotistical, Extravagant, Demanding, Critical
Appearance:
Color: Sun wolves come in bright hues of warm colors or white. It is very rare to see a pure-blooded sun wolf with gray or black fur, and those who do inherit such colors are thought to bring misfortune to themselves and others. The eyes of sun wolves come in all colors, but most commonly manifest as red, orange, or yellow. Markings of a sun wolf will often glow, as external core placement is common in the species.
Build: Sun wolves have body types that range from average to moderately muscular. Their pelt may come in many textures and lengths, and they tend to be very tall, which compliments the type of aura they exude that screams, "pay attention to me!" Sun wolves are naturally alluring, whether desiring to be or not. They have a dominating presence. Other wolves will sense a sun wolf before physically identifying one.
Heritage:
Ascendant(s): X
Descendant(s): Fire, Air, Lightning
Classification: Sun-Aether Family/Ancient Element
Rarity: Rare
Element is Combat:
Fighting Type: Sun wolves are excellent close-range combatants, and use their element in a similar manner to fire wolves. Sun wolves manipulate photons, drawing in their energy and converting it into a physically hot and sharpened energy force. They may shape and move this energy to their will, using it to slash or engulf opponents. The night is where a sun wolf proves to be most vulnerable, where they are limited to what light may be drawn through their cores. Otherwise, Sun is a powerful and offensive element with many devastating attacks.
Strength: High ➙ While Sun wolves are still formidable in a physical sense, it is their elemental prowess that places them high on the tier of strength. Because sun wolves draw their energy from the sun, these wolves have unlimited amounts of energy. In other words, provided there is sunlight, sun wolves do not have to regulate the power of their attacks nor do they need to worry about depleting their core. And not only do sun attacks cause devastating amounts of damage, they may also confuse or blind opponents due to the light the attacks emit. Similar to fire, sun wolf attacks linger, causing moderate pain after a blow is struck.
Defense: Low ➙ With the way sun wolves direct attacks, their bodies are often exposed towards returning blows, and their abilities do not give much in the way of countering attacks from other elements. Given the opportunity, a sun wolf may create a solid barrier of light, although doing so often takes too long for it to be successful. Light is easily disrupted, therefore many elements are able to break through a sun wolf's attack. They are weakest during the night, where they can not draw energy from the Sun. The core of a Sun wolf allows them to generate light, but they will not be able to form large attacks.
Speed: Medium ➙ Sun wolves are neither fast or slow, possessing enough agility to adequately perform against the average assailant. One thing sun wolves have is an all-seeing eye of sorts. If something threatening nearby is under the gaze of the sun, a sun wolf can sense it and act accordingly. They give off the impression of impressively dodging, when in reality they just simply know when an attack is being thrown at them.
Stamina: Medium ➙ During the day and in clear skies, a sun wolf is not going to run out of power. Elemental wise, they will keep on pushing provided the heavens allow it. The mental state of these wolves are similar; they do not give up easily, especially if they are fighting for a cause.
Unique Abilities:
Photokinisis: The ability to create and manipulate sunlight.
Light Immunity: As sun wolves manipulate light, their eyes are specifically adapted to handling harsh brightness.
Light Healing: A healing ability used by using a nourishing, light-based energy.
Lie Detector: While not inherited by all sun wolves, many have the innate ability to detect lies.
Diseases/Abnormalities:
The Moon Wolves
Overview:
At Their Best: Perceptive, Spontaneous, Mysterious, Gentle, Intuitive, Receptive, Instinctual, Protective
At Their Worst: Deceptive, Vengeful, Untrusting, Suppressed, Supposititious, Fickle, Irrational
Identification:
Color and Markings: Moon wolves are monotonous or gray, or may come in shades of blue and other cool colors. It is extremely rare for a moon wolf to possess any trace of red or orange in their fur. The eyes of moon wolves are either very pale or very dark in color, and may come in hues of black, gray, blue, green, yellow, and purple. Markings of a moon wolf will often glow, as external core placement is common in the species.
Build: Moon wolves have small to average builds with thick, silky coats that seem to flow like water as they walk. Moon wolves do not like to stand out or garner attention, but are quite capable of being regal. Their presence exudes an air of mystery.
Heritage:
Ascendant: X
Descendant(s): Water, Earth, Ice
Classification: Moon-Aether Family/Ancient Element
Rarity: Rare
Element is Combat:
Fighting Type:
Strength: Low➙
Defense: High➙
Speed: Medium➙
Stamina: Medium➙
Unique Abilities:
Photokinisis: The ability to create and manipulate moonlight.
Tidal Influence: Moon wolves can not control water to the extent of water wolves, but they do have control over the push and pull of the ocean's tides. If you get on a moon wolf's bad side when it's near the shoreline, then expect a large wave to come crashing down.
Mindscaping: Moon wolves have the uncanny ability to "feel" a wolf's memories and emotions. While they can not physically see what the wolf is experiencing, Moon wolves may alter the memory/emotion to a more pleasant or distressing form. They may also make no changes and simply choose to get a read on another wolf's state of mind. Moon wolves must be within three feet of their target to mindscape effectively, and is easiest to perform on willing or unsuspecting targets.
Night Vision: Whereas sun wolves stay away from the unknown darkness, moon wolves embrace it, and may see within it.
Light Healing: A healing ability used by using a mystical, light-based energy.
Diseases/Abnormalities:
Moon Blindness: A moon wolf that stares at the full moon for long periods of time without looking away is at risk for moon blindness, an acute or gradual condition that ultimately leads to the partial or complete loss of vision. The eyes of these victims are characterized by the large, enveloping milky-white covering that blankets the eyes― as if the moon resided within in their pupils.
Mind Fog: Unfortunately, it is possible for a mindscaping technique to go wrong. Inexperienced, young wolves are at the highest risk, as control over their element has not developed. These are wolves who are unable to pull away from the minds of other wolves, feeling their emotion. In realization of this, moon wolves panic― leading them to push that fear to the other wolf, then back to them again... and so on... before the emotion becomes powerful enough both wolves end up going crazy. If the mind link can not be broken by themselves or by another wolf then death by brain aneurysm is possible.
While uncommon, this may happen to older wolves as well. Whereas a younger wolf may panic, an experienced moon user will remain calm, leading to a very confused other wolf as the two walk around awkwardly until the mind link is broken naturally, which may take seconds, hours, or even days. Until the link breaks, each wolf is able to feel the emotion and intentions of the other.
Phase Shift: A behavioral change associated with the phases of the Moon. Wolves will have experience with this "condition" a number of times in their lives, whereas during a full or new moon― a moon wolf will become hyperactive or fatigued respectively. Phase Shift is more of a saying for a common occurrence in the species rather than a disease.
The Fire Wolves
Overview:
At Their Best: Passionate, Charming, Energetic, Adventurous, Courageous, Intense, Creative, Ambitious, Self-Assured, Social, Inspirational, Initiative
At Their Worst: Controlling, Temperamental, Impulsive, Reckless, Jealous, Aggressive, Restless, Impatient, Insensitive
Identification:
Color and Markings: Fire wolves may be either light or dark in coloration, though many native fire wolves have black or charcoal colored pelts. Any lighter colors are always in hues of red, oranges, and yellow. Blue, purple, and green are rare and seldom seen in the native population. Their eyes follow the same pattern. It is not uncommon for their markings to glow.
Build: Fire wolves vary in size, but are well known for being fit and muscular. They fall somewhere in the middle. Fire wolves are also known for their sharp features, including long pointed ear tips and triangular muzzles. Their pelts are coarse or "ashy" to the touch, and come in varying length. All fire wolves exude a degree of heat around them, and will feel comfortably warm to touch.
Heritage:
Ascendant: Sun and Fire
Descendant(s): Lightning
Classification: Sun Family/Primary Element
Rarity: Common
Element in Combat:
Fighting Type: Close to mid-range➙ Fire wolves have naturally strong attacks, both up close and from a distance. However, fighting up close is more advantageous due to their ability to heat their fur and body. Fire wolves are known for causing damage over time, finishing off opponents who are already burned and weakened. Fire is a powerful offensive element, but defensive tactics may be used if necessary.
Strength: High➙ Fire wolves are well known for their ability to raise their body temperature in accordance to their will. Part of this elemental’s strength comes from the additional damage they perform overtime by burning an opponent who attacks directly. Bites and scratches from a fire wolf are very painful, as their teeth and claws burn through even the thickest skin. Large or defensive based opponents are not deterrents for a fire wolf. From afar they can shoot continuous streams of fire or singular fire blasts at their opponent.
Defense: Low to medium➙ Fire wolves come in a variety of sizes. Most often these body types are influenced on how fire wolves choose to use their element in combat. The average lot are seen with low to average defense capabilities. Fire wolves that like to use their strength all at once are heavy hitters that intend to finish fights early. More balanced fire wolves can last longer defensively, but won’t deal out as strong attacks. For many fire wolves, their strong will allows them to push past their limit.
Speed: Medium➙ This is a trait once again defined by how fire wolves decide to use their element. Wolves relying solely on power and close quarters will be less nimble compared to wolves who shoot fire from a distance. The majority find balance in the middle.
Stamina: Medium➙ Stamina is based around the size of an elemental core. Fire wolves with larger cores can last longer in battle, at the cost of their magic being harder to control. Those with smaller cores don’t have enough magic to dish out successive devastating attacks, but they do a better job at conserving their energy and keeping a clear head.
Unique Abilities:
Pyrokinesis: The ability to create, shape, and manipulate the elemental fire within their core.
Thermoregulation: All fire wolves are bestowed the ability to control the temperature of their inner and outer body at will. Directly from birth puppies under this element are able to tap into this trait, although they will not know how to control it until later in life. Young fire wolves are known for being difficult to care for, especially if the parents are of different elements. Their fur can heat up to over 200 degrees celsius. Ouch.
Fire Resistance: Fire wolves are immune to their own power, however they can be hurt by naturally occurring fire or elemental fire made by another wolf. They are still able to resist these forces to a certain degree, even more so if two fire wolves are related. Older and more skillful wolves will have a higher chance to resist the elemental magic of an inexperienced fire wolf, and may even be able to redirect the other’s power away. A fire wolf can never fully control the energy of another fire wolf.
Ice Resistance: Because fire wolves have the ability to regulate their body temperature at will, the cold is hardly a problem for them. Only a sick, young, or old fire wolf will feel the effects of a chilly winter.
Specific Illnesses/Abnormalities:
Poikilothermia: The inability to maintain core body temperature. This is a common disease most often found in puppies up to three months old. It is said to be a mutation caused by parents sharing a similar genetic code. Wolves born with naturally small cores may also end up with this condition. While it is relatively considered no more dangerous than the common cold, with most growing out of it within a week, an unfortunate few may end up with it as a chronic condition. This in turn affects their ability to make or summon their power later in life. Symptoms include uncontrollable shivering and shaking, weakness of joints, stiffness, lack of appetite, and lethargy.
Respiratory Diseases: Native fire wolves residing within their kingdom are prone to developing respiratory illnesses due to the volcanic atmosphere. While native fire wolves have built up resistance to the smog, wolves with weakened immune systems will end up developing problems.
Emberthrow: All parents dread the moment their young fire elemental ends up succumbing to a bout of the emberthrows. A specific condition only to fire wolves 1-3 months of age, this harmless bout of the hiccups results in the uncontrollable release of fire breathing, and the sizzling remains of anything that gets in its way. Pups are quickly ushered to an area where no harm will be done, where the only cure is to patiently wait for the hiccups to subside.
The Water Wolves
Overview:
Positive Traits: Nurturing, Empathetic, Intuitive, Artistic, Sensual, Contemplative, Placid, Compassionate, Observant, Romantic, Sentimental
Negative Traits: Moody, Sensitive, Secretive, Anxious, Brooding, Manipulative, Possessive, Insecure, Vindictive
Identification:
Color and Markings: Water wolves come in a higher degree of color compared to other species, specifically in their markings. Base colors often include shades of both blue and green. Their eyes may show as blue, green, purple, or yellow. Water wolf markings can be very elaborate and colorful, appearing as swirls and dots and much more. They rarely glow.
Build: Water wolves are muscular wolves, but do not appear as such. Their bodies are slim and streamlined, so their strength is often underestimated. They also have thick skin, hiding some of their features. The follicles of a water wolf are highly adapted to life in/near water. Their coats gleam in the sun, and to the touch they are oily and slick feeling, which is meant to help repel water. Water wolves have webbed padding, broad tails, and short muzzles and ears.
Marine water wolves, which are the rare underwater variant of this element, are identified by the presence of gills and their very unique one of a kind fishtail. Marine water wolves often have scales on some areas of the body, and very little hair growth.
Heritage:
Ascendant: Moon and Water
Descendant(s): Ice
Classification: Moon Family/Primary Element
Rarity: Common
Element in Combat:
Fighting Type: Long-range-- Water wolves prefer a long-ranged type fighting style. Their defense is not poor, but the majority of water-based attacks are done from a distance. Water attacks deal damage by manipulating the element at a very high force and speed, which can not be done up close near a target. Close-range water attacks are meant for defensive or supportive use, such as surrounding an opponent in a veil of water to prevent them from attacking. Water is a versatile element, capable of being used offensively, defensively, and even healing.
Strength: Low to medium-- The element of water is a very powerful element when controlled correctly. A well prepared attack can blast through a wall of solid rock, with some of the greatest physical force of all known elementals. However, this is only accomplished with the right environmental factors, and can use up a large amount of a water wolf’s energy. Most water attacks are spammed at low power, due the the heavy, physical properties associated with the element and the concentration required to move it.
Defense: Medium-- Water wolves, especially of the marine variety, are very muscular and have a thick layer of skin. Terrestrial water wolves carry long and oily guard hairs, which actually repel some of the elemental magics. Both adaptations are originally meant to aid with being in or around water, but they also assist in combat.
Speed: Medium-- Water wolves are unparalleled in the water, but as most fights do not take place in the water, there is nothing noteworthy about their speed. However, it is relevant to point out that water wolves have some impressive flexibility. They are incredibly agile and thus do well at dodging attacks. There is elegance in their movements and are thus known as the “dancing wolves.”
Stamina: High-- Water wolves have a very high capacity to store oxygen thanks to reservoirs in the muscles, blood, and spleen. They are able to regulate energy exceptionally well in general, making them outlast their opponents. This is always true when there is a natural source of water around. The marine variety, however, will have a difficult time on land for obvious reasons.
Unique Abilities:
Aquakinesis: The ability to manipulate and control liquid water and mold it into any desired shape or form.
Water Generation: The ability to collect water molecules in the air to create a substantial amount of usable liquid water.
Aquatic Respiration: Marine water wolves have gills and are capable of bringing in oxygen through water. Regular water wolves are not capable of breathing underwater, but they may hold their breath for as long as ten minutes.
Magic Resistance: The oils on a water wolf’s fur naturally repels elemental attacks.
Common Illnesses/Abnormalities:
Xerosis: A condition primarily found in marine water wolves regarding dry and flaky skin. Marine wolves are not adapted to living life on land, and staying out of the water for too long will cause the skin to dry and cause discomfort. Marine wolves are also easily burned by the sun, causing additional problems. Those who decide to leave the water for a life of terrestrial living must soak themselves at least twice a day to avoid damaging their skin.
Seborrhea Oleosa: A skin condition commonly seen in both species of water wolf, but more commonly presented in the land variety. Seborrhea in water wolves causes the skin to secrete excess oils from glands in or near the hair follicles. Secretions are produced by all water wolves, but to an extreme extent in wolves with seborrhea. The result is an oily, greasy coat accompanied by a pungent smell and scratching. The itching can then cause sores and open wounds with the risk of bringing secondary infection. Seborrhea can be genetic or caused by trauma such as allergies, parasites, or a poor diet. Inherited seborrhea is manageable with frequent cleansing and care, while others may return to normal once a starting cause is eliminated.
Fish Sickness: A very odd condition regarding water wolves refusing to consume anything but a particular type of fish... While not exactly a disease, it is a frequent occurrence among juvenile water wolves who become fixated or obsessed with eating fish. It does not have any harmful effects, but can inhibit the diet if a wolf’s specific fish source is depleted, causing them not to eat. Duration can last from a few days to a lifetime. Other elementals are known to get Fish Sickness, although it is not as common as it is with water wolves.
The Air Wolves
Overview:
Positive Traits: Adaptable, Independent, Analytical, Open-Minded, Creative, Knowledgeable, Visionary, Objective, Original, Sociable, Comunicative
Negative Traits: Inconsistent, Gossipy, Dishonest, Aloof, Scattered, Abstracted, Unempathetic, Unpredictable, Indecisive, Contradictory
Identification:
Colors and Markings: Air wolves are one of the few types of wolves to boast a large genetic pool of color, though these colors are often "washed out" versions (think pastel). Air wolves have light or pale hues dominating the native population, with cool colors being more common than warm colors, which is odd considering their element's classification. White and gray are also very common, while black is the rarest color found. The eyes of Air wolves follow the above trend. Markings do not typically glow.
Build: Air wolves are dainty and slim, built for speed. They are the smallest of all elemental types. Despite this, they have the largest ears and the most potent sense of sight and hearing. Their legs are also exceptionally long given their body size. The fur of an air wolf is extremely soft and light, and grows in varying lengths depending on the part of the body. Often, there are long tufts of fur on the hocks and shoulder, looking almost like small vestigial wings. They also grow tufts on the head, creating bangs.
Heritage:
Ascendant: Sun and Air
Descendant(s): Lightning
Classification: Sun Family/Primary Element
Rarity: Common
Element is Combat:
Fighting Type: Long-range-- Air is primarily a defensive element, although it is capable of strong offensive attacks. It is in their best interest to battle at a distance, complementing their natural speed. Air wolves lash out harsh blades of air to slice at their opponents. They have exceptional strength in number, and are valuable team players.
Strength: Medium-- Air is an element that lands quick, successive attacks. They can concentrate the air around them, shaping it into any weapon. A singular attack done by an air wolf is weak, but can be followed up by other attacks. They also have amazing accuracy and eyesight, making their attacks sure-hits. Complementing their skill in comradery, air wolves are compatible with others by ‘fusing’ attacks with other elements, such as making a fire wolf’s attacks stronger by supplying oxygen and a strong current towards a target.
Defense: Low-- Air wolves are petite, and their light skeletal structure can not support the weight of heavy hits. Being the intellectuals they are, Air wolves have developed several methods of protecting their fragility. One such method involves surrounding themselves in a cyclone of wind, where both physical and elemental attacks will have trouble getting through. If they are cornered, air wolves may suddenly breathe out a powerful gust and blow their opponents away. However, air wolves are dependent on open-space, and will be disadvantaged in areas such as woodlands.
Speed: High-- Air wolves are the second fastest wolves (they will argue this though,) second only to Lightning. While second, they are better at evading attacks and at using their speed, as where Lighting wolves are more erratic and unpredictable in their movements. If their surroundings provide it, Air wolves are incredibly difficult to attack.
Stamina: Low to Medium-- Like other elementals centered on speed, air wolves will tire out from prolonged encounters. Physically, they have very little to offer. From a elemental standpoint, Air wolves outlast others, as air is… well.. everywhere. Unlike other types, they don’t have to worry about their cores depleting.
Powers and Abilities:
Aerokinesis: The ability to manipulate and shape air.
Wind Generation: The ability to create gusts or sudden blasts of wind.
Levitation: To some degree, air wolves can seemingly hop or glide across the ground by supporting their bodies with the air’s currents.
Specific Illnesses/Abnormalities:
The Earth Wolves
Overview:
Positive Traits: Practical, Stable, Resilient, Patient, Reliable, Loyal, Sensual, Sensible, Organized, Honest, Methodical, Conventional, Pragmatic
Negative Traits: Stubborn, Materialistic, Rigid, Slow, Critical, Predictable, Inflexible, Unimaginative, Narrow-Minded
Identification:
Trademarks: Earth wolves come in different body types, though they are commonly seen as sturdy and well-built in both genders. Their paws are large, similar to male ice wolves. The main way to identify an earth wolf is through smell, as they have an earthy aroma, such as wet soil or dying leaves. The pelt of an earth wolf is less maintained than other types, which feels dry and sometimes coarse to the touch. It is unlikely for an earth wolf to have unnatural colors other than in markings. Their base coat will almost always be of natural color.
Heritage:
Ascendant: Moon and Earth
Descendant(s): Ice
Classification: Moon Family/Primary Element
Rarity: Common
Element is Combat:
Fighting Type: Mid-range-- Earth wolves are adept at both close and middle ranged combat styles. Their defense and stamina is very high, making them one of the most durable of all elementals. Speed is not a priority, because their bodies can take on multiple hits. Fighting an earth wolf from any range is a great challenge, and will quite literally test one’s level in patience. However, Earth wolves must use existing matter, and can not create/give life to earth and plants-- only manipulate it. Earth is a defensive element, with a great number of counters.
Strength: Medium-- Strength is difficult to measure in earth wolves as they are capable of two types of magic. The only element to accomplish this feat. One type is the manipulation of earth, the soil and rocks. The power of these earth attacks are slow but very powerful. The subtype of earth magic involves controlling the will of flora, most often manifesting the utility of thorns, vines, and even toxic fungi. Typically, the first magic is the primary method of both offense and defense, while plant manipulation is used as utility, such as setting traps. Earth wolves are very good at setting traps, so watch yourself.
Defense: High-- Earth wolves have great physical bulk, and can be described as solid rock walls. Not only are their bodies built to withstand any attack thrown at them, but their control over the land itself makes it so they can handle themselves practically anywhere. Earth wolves can manipulate the terrain into a field built entirely suited to their needs, and will instantly pull up a wall of rock or other natural matter to form a barrier between them and their opponent.
Speed: Low-- Earth wolves are the slowest of elementals. While incredibly bulky, they are disadvantaged when confronted by multiple enemies who throw out attacks faster than they can react. Shaking the ground, much like that of an earthquake, is a counter earth wolves may perform in this situation, to throw others off their balance.
Stamina: High-- Earth wolves are patient elementals who wait for an opportunities and other openings to present themselves. Moving the earth around them takes enormous strength, and strains the body if used with no thought. Earth wolves do not attack unless they know it will be effective against an assailant. Slow and steady wins the race.
Powers and Abilities:
Terrakinesis: User can shape and manipulate earth.
Agrokinesis: User can shape and manipulate plants.
Goulum Creation: With great difficulty, earth wolves may decide to make controllable puppets out of earth or plant matter.
Specific Illnesses/Abnormalities:
The Lightning Wolves
Overview:
Positive Traits: Energetic, Ambitious, Engaging, Witty, Intellectual, Inventive, Confident, Brave, Clever, Meticulous
Negative Traits: Rebellious, Restless, Forceful, Direct, Patronizing, Arrogant, Prideful, Obsessive, Insensitive
Identification:
Trademarks: Lightning wolves have the attribute of essentially being living, breathing, walking static electricity. Their fur is often found sticking up in places it shouldn’t be and even their body will attract certain materials to stick to it. Touching a lightning wolf may result in an unexpected shock, especially in the instance of a younger wolf. in lightning wolves, it is very common for them to possess glowing markings.
Heritage:
Ascendant: Sun - Fire/Air - Lightning
Descendant(s): None
Classification: Sun Family/Secondary Element
Rarity: Uncommon
Element is Combat:
Fighting Type: Mid to Long-Range-- Lighting is an element of extremes. They are either incredibly strong, or incredibly vulnerable. Their attacks are successive and fast, capable of dealing large amounts of damage. They do well shooting out attacks from a distance, and can perform equally well zapping an opponent that gets in too close. Controlling this element is challenging, as lightning wolves have little to no time to think as they unleash it. Lightning is purely an offensive element, with almost no defensive techniques.
Strength: High-- Lightning wolves deal out medium to high levels of power in fights. They are considered glass cannons and rely on forcing foes into submission by rapid successions of attacks, similar to air. Singular attacks are much more powerful than the average air attack, likely thanks to their shared heritage with fire. These charged up attacks from a lightning wolf are absolutely devastating, and will have a good chance to end the fight if landed successfully. A succession of lighting attacks, which are more of a fury of irritating zaps, over time can damage nerve endings and result in the restricted or uncontrollable movement of opponents.
Defense: Low-- Because lightning wolves rely on their speed and strength, they have poor defensive capabilities. Surprisingly, many do well in faring against magic-based assaults, but physical attacks can put a Lightning wolf out of commission instantaneously. They do have some counters to help prevent this outcome, such as coating their fur in electricity, or forming a type of electrified wall/net in front of them. Paralyzing an enemy's limbs is also an option for lightning wolves to execute who have become desperate. Even with these counters, lightning is an unstable and does not shape easily. It can be broken away by other elements even with the most highly skilled lightning users.
Speed: High-- Alongside air, lightning wolves are considered the fastest of elementals. They are incredibly agile, and find ease in dodging and navigating their surrounding quickly and efficiently. They are unpredictable in their movements and attacks, an advantage they try to use in the fullest capacity. The attacks they deal are quick as well, almost instant. It is impossible to dodge a lightning attack when aimed and used correctly, though their accuracy in most cases is extremely lucky to even reach 70% hit rate.
Stamina: Low-- Lightning wolves will deplenish their cores at a faster rate than most elementals, as lightning is not readily available, and using ions in the air takes time to convert to usable energy. While the mentally of lightning wolves never seems to loose its 'defiant spark,' they can not outlast opponents physically or magically.
Powers and Abilities:
Electrokinesis: Control, generate, or absorb electric fields and shoot lightning bolts.

The Ice Wolves
Overview:
Positive Traits: Analytical, Efficient, Calm, Facilitating,
Negative Traits: Secretive, Deceptive, Cold, Uncaring, Bitter, Sarcastic, Fearful, Contemptuous, Superficial
How to Tell:
Trademarks: Ice wolves are interesting in that they have a huge difference in physicality according to sex. Males are one of the largest, most muscular wolves, while females are among the smallest. The pelt of both genders are very thick, and even have tufts of extra fur between their ears and toes. This makes their paws looks rather large, and their ears small. Like fire wolves, all one has to do is reach out and touch an ice wolf to discover their element. Young ice wolves are prone to making their surroundings snow, and accidentally freezing objects they end up in contact with.

Fire
Water
Air
Earth

- Additional Info:
- * The Primary, Secondary, and Ancient classes are correlated to our world’s past aiōns (greek word for long period of time or ages.) The ancient elements are elements founded in the 1st aiōn of history. The discovery of the primary elements marked the beginning of the second aiōn, while the finding of the secondary elements started the third aiōn. We are currently living in the fifth aiōn.
*The elements in this world are primarily influenced off the classical elements of Ancient Greece, specifically regarding the elemental qualities of Aristotle. There are four elements in ancient Greek belief: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire (originally proposed by Empedocles). Aristotle added a fifth element, known as Aether, representing the material filling of the universe. In our world, we use Aether to represent the elements of Time and Space. Technically speaking, it is not incorrect to place Sun and Moon in both the Sun/Moon and the Aether class. Aristotle also incorporated the elemental qualities: hot, cold, dry, and wet. Fire and air are hot, while water and earth are cold. We used this to determine which elements would fall under the sun or moon classification (the sun is hot and moon is cold.)
Fire- hot and wet
Water- cold and wet
Air- hot and dry
Earth- cold and dry
The Sun Wolves
Paralysis:
Specific Illnesses/Abnormalities:

DEAR SIR:
I think electromagnetism should be a thing. Like. We're electric wolves. But we're also magnets.

Re: About: The Elements
That is how Lightning wolves generate electricity to begin with, by controlling (not creating) the electromagnetic particles around them. Rest assured I will eventually describe it in the post. I'm not even close to finishing.
Please feel free to explain your ideas more in depth. I'm open to anything.
